De functie

As Accountant, your responsibilities are :

  • Maintain accurate GL accounting records in IFRS and in Belgian GAAP
  • Perform accounts justification and reconciliation (intercompany)
  • Selection of vendors (tax, payroll, IT…) in connection (or not) with the company corporate organization,
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closing to Group in IFRS
  • Prepare and submit statutory reporting in Belgian Gaap (BNB)
  • Prepare and submit Belgian VAT declarations
  • Deal with financial and tax audits
  • Manage cash and payments
  • Set up / improve finance systems and processes. Ensure the processes are properly followed
  • Contribute actively to Finance Projects and provide assistance to regional accounting manager.

Het profiel

  • You have between 4 and 7 years of experience in GL accounting.
  • You have knowledge of Belgian Gaap and IFRS, of VAT and ISOC
  • You have a Bachelor degree in accounting
  • You are fluent in English and French
  • Proficiency in computer applications like Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel, and Outlook. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a real asset.
  • You are well organized in your tasks and capable to manage priorities
  • You are able to work autonomously
  • You are showing high integrity and adherence to values
  • You have good interpersonal and communication skills
